The River |
|
|
By Liam
My Lady's Collar.
I am Bound, but not Restrained.
I soar, within chains.

You lead me to the river.
The soft conversation of
water flowing
over rocks and the frogs muffles the soft clink of the
chains of my
leash. It shines softly in the half moon, and dreamily
floats ahead
of me into the darkness, swallowed up by your shape. I
hear now the
soft slap of water against the hull of your pontoon
boat,
your "party" boat, now a vague shape, obscuring the
dimly glowing
water close to shore. I smell now the earth smell. The
damp earth,
bursting with life force. The river's smell, ripe with
the promise
of rebirth. The soft summer breeze, stroking my
nakedness,
reminding me of my animal heritage. Tonight I am free
of man's
pretense. This night I am a primate, captive to our
passion, and
your will. You lead me onto the boat. It rocks gently
to our
weight, and welcomes us to the dance of water and
boat. My leash
now fastened to the rail, you force me to kneel,
facing the moon.
My hands tied in front, to the rail, i stare up at the
glowing face
in the heavens, awaiting my fate, penitent, like some
ancient
sacrifice, as you prepare for the ritual of my
deflowering. Soon we
are to rock together as two wrestlers locked in
battle, yet the
victor never in doubt. The tidal pull of your power
over me has
drawn me to this place, this moment, like the fierce
bond which
holds the moon in orbit over us even now. We become
part of that
symmetry. Forces of nature, as we accept our own true
natures, and
you accept what was ever yours to take. I think of the
life
swimming beneath us at this moment, and the life force
which welds
me to you, as the moon shines down upon us, and gives
my eyes a
point of focus, as I lose myself in our rapture. I am
one with all
around me, and most of all now, part of you.
