i close my
eyes again
the corner of this wall
is so cold against my nose
each moment
i'm pressed against it
i learn who i am
and why i am here.
on my knees
obeying a concept
i sink lower
breath calmer
discover
more about
obedience
focus
and devotion.
is it Her inspired?
self inspired?
knees tremble
either
and both
resident devotion,
necessary obedience,
inspired by a Shadow
of a possible future
far away yet close.
nose pressed
eyes closed
heart poundingminutes pass
float by one by one
and i learn
as lately
i continually
seem to be doing
how to block out
the pain
let in the devotion
of submission
to a will i need
to obey inside
for now and
one day hopefully
to be engulfing my
every thought
to my very core
to be Her's
and worthy
of the privilege
to worship a
Goddess
